Radiesse ® Dermal Filler

Treatment with Radiesse ® dermal filler helps reduce the appearance of deeper facial wrinkles and folds. In addition it is well suited for facial contouring and it addresses volume or bony deficits. Radiesse ^® also adds volume to the backside of the hands. There, as a result it creates a more youthful look. Finally, it pushes back against an excessively crêpey and or veiny appearance.

Radiesse ® (calcium-hydroxyapatite) is different from the hyularonic acid filler families. It is a collagen imducing bio-stimulator. The particular qualities of Radiesse ® generate a response by our fibroblast cells to produce more of our own natural collagen.

Collagen is the main structural protein in our skin. It is what helps it feel and look tight, taught, and youthful. Production of collagen slows down with age, subsequently causing skin to sag.

Radiesse ® is comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier.

Opon injection it provides immediate volume correction. Then it continues to work by stimulating the body’s own natural collagen production for a generally long-lasting effect.

Over time, the gel gets absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres, consequently leaving behind only your own natural collagen.

Radiesse ® +  is pre-mixed with lidocaine thereby adding comfort during injection.
