Get to Know Our Staff Serving the Philadelphia Area at Mind Your Skin: Presenting the Mind Your Skin Team

Mind Your Skin is more than just another office, and for many of our clients it feels like they are visiting close friends. Our Mind Your Skin team, includes licensed estheticians at our Philadelphia and Havertown-area practices, and they aim to make our clients feel relaxed and at home in a professional environment. Some of our clients that have moved out of state are still scheduling their treatments with us because of the skill and comfort that we bring to bear(!)

A team approach at Mind Your Skin starts as you are greeted at the front desk and continue through your consultation with one of our estheticians or with Dr. Norbertus Robben. Together we educate you on the different procedures and products available to help you look and feel your best no matter what your age. It gives us pride that our great staff has been with us since the start of Mind Your Skin in 2005.  We love the amazing clients we have had the privilege to serve along the way.

Clinical staff

KIM

Licensed Esthetician; Media coördinator

Kim has been in the esthetics field for 15 years and is a licensed esthetician. Kim is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists. She is also a regional trainer for Laboratoires Pierre Fabre’s Glytone® Peels. She works closely with her husband, Dr. Robben, in client consultations. Together they sort through the latest cutting-edge technologies by attending skin-care, laser, and physician conferences. She loves working with clients in designing maintenance treatment programs to help them achieve optimal results through skincare, lasers and other energy devices, and injectables.

Kim’s areas of special interest as an esthetician are the effects of menopause on women’s skin and body. She also enjoys the challenge of unwanted hyperpigmentation and customizes skin-care programs using combined modalities of at home products with in-office chemical peels, SkinPen® Precision microneedling, and dermaplaning. Kim performs these treatments as well as UltraShape® Power body-fat contouring, VelaShape® III for cellulite reduction, and the Juliet™ device for women’s intimate health. Kim’s experience as a clinical social worker makes her aware that it is important for clients with busy and complicated lives to feel good, inside and out. Her favorite treatment is the combination of Profound® and ActiveFX™ because it can make such a tremendous difference in the overall quality of aging skin.

LINDA

Licensed Esthetician; Medical Assistant

Linda is a licensed esthetician with an extensive past experience as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice. Her time in dermatology sparked an interest to train as an esthetician. She has been with us in both capacities since 2005. Her clients often praise her “gentle hands.” Linda also works by Dr. Robben’s side in lending support and advice regarding the menu of laser treatments and skin care services available at Mind Your Skin.

As an esthetician, she offers her clients customized facial treatments and is known for her relaxing but top-notch results with medical microdermabrasion and chemical peel combination. Linda is passionate about making people feel better in how they look by providing the latest in skin care services. She also performs laser hair removal. Her favorite procedure is the ActiveFX™ laser rejuvenation that is part of her own annual maintenance. She finds FX treatment helps keep her refreshed. It is especially the collagen boost that improves texture, tightens up her skin, including around the eyes and eyelids.

Linda is currently not performing esthetician services but her experience will guide you to a treatment that will benefit you!

We are excited to announce that we are soon entering into our 20th year of operation. Thank you all for your patronage. And, as the saying goes: “Experience never gets old”!

We are pleased to announce that Karen has come on board to help run the practice in the upcoming years. She draws from 30+ years of experience having worked down the hall at the Hand Center, where she has been integral to strengthening the fabric and the vibe. With this transition, she is welcoming a career change.
