"Dear Dr. Robben, Linda et al, I have recovered very nicely from my laser treatment. I just wanted to send you a note and thank you again for your time and care in June and over the years. It is a little embarrassing to want to look better, but you make me feel positive about it. With my 60th birthday this Tuesday, I feel good."
"I have been coming to this location for 9 years now. As my hormones changed and my hair growth increased, it was treated with the utmost care and attention. I actually commute 2.5hours this location as I moved since I started my treatment, bc that's how much I trust Mind Your Skin. Very effective results. Highly recommend!!"- SJ, Google Reviews, Summer 2018

Reduce Acne Scarring and More in the Philadelphia Area
If the skin is injured, the body automatically begins processes to fix it. In some cases, as with severe acne, these processes can leave scars. In other cases, as with certain rejuvenating cosmetic procedures, these processes can create smoother, more even skin. Microneedling at the Philadelphia area’s Mind Your Skin is the latter, using a highly advanced device to create measured, controlled micro-injuries that ultimately improve the look of the face—or wherever they are applied.
Mind Your Skin’s aestheticians are well trained and experienced with SkinPen® Precision, the device used for microneedling at the Havertown practice. The aestheticians will work with each patient one-on-one to ensure that cosmetic concerns are being accurately heard and that microneedling is the best treatment option. SkinPen® Precision is the first device cleared by the FDA for microneedling. This is because it meets/exceeds their very strict standards.
SkinPen® Precision is a handheld device using hair-thin needles that gently make numerous tiny channels, each of which triggers a multi-step wound-healing process. Not only does this process repair the channels created by microneedling, it also serves to improve the look, feel, and health of the surrounding skin. This can be enhanced by including platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
Note that although many people resume daily activities within 24 hours of a treatment, the rejuvenation process following treatment is gradual, with the results appearing as collagen and other vital elements increase their presence in the skin in the weeks following a SkinPen® Precision session.
Multiple sessions or combinations with other treatments may be required in order to achieve desired results, with appointments scheduled regularly for years to allow for an ongoing look of fresh, vibrant, smooth, and clear skin.
*Patient results may vary.
What Can Microneedling Treat?
SkinPen® Precision is ideal for remodeling surface imperfections, such as large pores and minor scar tissue—like marks left behind by acne outbreaks. It can also be used to “keep the ball rolling” after laser resurfacing and Profound radiofrequency microneedling.
Treatments to Complement Microneedling at Mind Your Skin
Protein-rich plasma is a booster treatment created out of a vial of your own blood and applied immediately following treatment. The growth factors in the plasma enhance the treatment result by seeping into the microchannels created during the SkinPen® procedure while also reducing downtime.
Skin Rejuvenation Options Beyond Microneedling for the Philadelphia Area
The aestheticians at Havertown’s Mind Your Skin know that different skin rejuvenation solutions work better for different people. In addition to microneedling, they offer two different types of rejuvenating exfoliation: microdermabrasion, which “polishes” away the dead cells that form the outermost layers of skin, and chemical peels, which use balanced acids to directly impact the worn outer layers of skin and cause them to flake away.
Dr. Norbertus Robben and the Mind Your Skin team offer BOTOX®, Jeuveau™, Dysport™, Xeomin®, Juvederm® and other dermal fillers, Kybella®, laser hair reduction, IPL, laser skin tightening, resurfacing, and rejuvenation; laser vein treatments; vaginal rejuvenation; UltraShape®; VelaShape-III®, chemical peels; microdermabrasion; microneedling; and more for the Havertown and Philadelphia areas.
